Vision Gives Pain Purpose

Experiencing pain is not only inevitable but is an equal opportunity phenomenon we must ALL endure whether through no fault of ours, vicariously through others or as direct consequences of our own decisions; irrespective of race, color, creed, class, wealth, notoriety, academic accomplishment, job status, political or religious persuasion.

Pain represents a most interesting dichotomy that oftentimes serves to unearth even more deep seated and fundamental problems than is readily apparent on one hand; or serves to reinforce some of our most potent and unforgettable learning experiences on the other hand.

The popular quote that says “no pain, no gain” highlights the positive characteristics to be derived from leveraging pain for the greater good; which allows visionaries to readily embrace pain as par for the course in realizing purpose.

Privilege seemingly acts as an antidote which prevents many from learning CRITICAL character building traits and inadvertently destroying innate human resilience; consistent with empirical evidence confirming a strong correlation between being most accomplished and overcoming adversities in life.

There is a very thin line between pain that destroys and pain that uplifts; with purpose being the determining factor and differentiator between these polar opposite outcomes.

Those of us who are Holy Bible Reading and Believing Christians readily understand and appreciate that OBEDIENCE to the Word expresses a willingness to embrace pain consistent with Jesus Christ’s instructions to take up our own cross and follow Him.

Matthew 16:24-26 (English Standard Version)

Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus

24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.25 For whoever would save his life[a]will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Vision inspired by OBEDIENCE to Kingdom Principles ultimately serves to mitigate adverse consequences whilst providing CRITICAL life lessons; whereas ALL other inevitably painful experiences will prove to be POINTLESS and relegated as punishment for stupidity in the absence of purpose.

Seeking First the Kingdom of Jehovah and His Righteousness is the beginning of wisdom; thereby inspiring worthwhile vision and purpose for ALL aspects of our lives.
