The Best Performance on Stage by a Singer
I don’t recall being as electrified watching any performance as the one done by Michael Jackson (and his brothers) at the Motown 25 celebration in 1983.
The chills started with Richard Pryor in his hey day introducing the Singer via a clip showing the young Michael Jackson showing is precocious talent as singer and dancer. The tempo was raised with the Performers actual entrance on stage accompanied by his brothers.
With the stage set, what followed was a perfect mix of the Jackson’s top hits followed by hair raising choreographed dancing. Of course, it was the talented Michael Jackson and moves right out of the Superstar’s top closet.
Here’s the pulsating video.
